Timberland OTS
Whiteroom were awarded the OTS (Outdoor Trade Show) contract from Timberland to launch the outdoor performance range.
Whiteroom were delighted when Timberland appointed us with the OTS contract following detailed presentations in 2D, 3D and animated movies.
Taking cues from the brands strong tone of voice, we were able to come up with two strong exhibition stand designs. Timberland were suitably impressed and struggled to choose between the options Whiteroom proposed.
The Brief:
To launch the Timberland outdoor performance range to the trade. The concept needed to have maximum stand-out at the event and clearly show that Timberland are an outdoor performance brand.
Customers entering the stand need to feel welcome and be inspired by the environment. Customers need to engage with the product and have a clear understanding of the key technologies in all the product ranges.
The Delivery:
Whiteroom delivered an exceptional stand in a relatively small space that answered the brief. Taking cues from the Timberland tone of voice, Whiteroom created a space that was layered in its detail - from a casual meet-and-greet area through to the interactive technology stories and product ranges.
At the heart of the stand and the concept was a live tree which formed the seating and discussion area. The stand then radiated out from the tree, with technologies and the interactive experiences at the front and the product categories at the back surrounded by a large seamless aspirational wallpaper print.
With bright lighting and sustainable natural materials (such as rock, water and timber sourced from managed forests), the stand was a balance of nature and bold communication.
The Commercial Success:
The exhibition stand was a great success and achieved the impact that Timberland were after. The tree was won in a competition, and will be planted as one of the 1 million trees that Timberland are planting globally.
The elements designed and delivered by Whiteroom will potentially evolve into retail fixtures and support the growing Trail Wave, Path Rock and Formentor outdoor performance ranges.
Interest and sales were driven by the impact of the stand - in fact the impression was so good that several of Timberland's customer have now asked Whiteroom to consult on some retail tuning for their independent stores!
