Today was spent at the photographic studio shooting the Merrell Barefoot Global POS units. Whiteroom designed and delivered this suite of units in early 2011. Now that the second batch has been ordered for 2012 we thought it was about time we shared our work with you!

Merrell Barefoot has been a huge success for the Merrell brand, and Whiteroom are very proud to have played our part in delivering a retail support package to promte and sell the new range in retail stores around the World.

Here’s a sneaky peak of the build for the product launch. As the official launch of the new audio line of Ferrari branded products was at 9am GMT, we are really excited to show you our efforts at CES in Vegas. We’ve designed a sleek and elegant stand with imposing towers which gives the stand great drama… oh and the Ferrari 599 helps!

Whiteroom were asked to take part in the Timberland Serv-a-Palooza service day. This is a Timberland Earthkeepers initiative to give time and manpower which benefits local organisations and services. This is a global event that all Timberland offices take part in on the same day twice a year.

Of course Whiteroom were more than happy to get involved and give our time to help others. So Craig White (Director) and Gareth Stanley (3D Designer / Project Manager) spent the day with Timberland on a variety of tasks.

At Black Park in Slough, we worked alongside the park staff to clear out sections of woodland in order to create dead hedgerows. This allows the park staff to plant new hazel saplings, encouraging more wildlife to the area for future generations.

Timberland put on a great lunch for all, followed by a couple of competitions including an orienteering challenge, which we gladly took part in and won!!!

This was a great rewarding day and we would like to give special thanks to Timberland for the invitation. We look forward to the next one!

Whiteroom were awarded the contract to design, manufacture and deliver the creative assets for the Timberland Fall 2012 product conference.

Whiteroom designed a series of units and customised existing furniture features to showcase the products. We took influence from the product materials and the Timberland tone of voice.

Here's a few pictures of the flat TV tables, hot rolled steel signs and material trays. This is just a small selection of the kit that will potential roll out to showrooms across Europe.

Whiteroom have designed, managed and delivered this high impact exhibition stand for Timberland. This is the first install of the Timberland outdoor look for their performance range.

Both the Timberland team and Whiteroom are extremely happy with the impact this stand has achieved at the Outdoor Trade Show 2011.

That time of year has rolled around again - we have just launched the AW11 refresh of the Sprayway apparel website!

The new site sports a warming ruby-red colour scheme, and has some design and layout changes; theres a new footer, new home page layout, tighter navigation area in the header, and a new angular design to replace some rounded elements.

Hot Stuff replaces the Product of the Month feature for this season, and there is also a new Technologies section that displays more information about each of the materials used for Sprayway products, as well as quick-links through to those items that use the fabric.

Another exciting new feature is also due to be launched on the site, so keep an eye out for that coming soon!

We've just returned from the Outdoor Show 2011 in Fridrichshafen. It was another great year packed with loads of active shows and great new products. The brands we work for are really happy with the success of the event. Here's what SmartWool have to say:

Whiteroom have completed and launched this boutique bike store for Giant Bicycles in the heart of Liverpool's docklands.

It's a cracking little shop that attracts the city commuters and bicycle enthusiasts.

In a small space we managed to merchandise a variety of rider and bike gear with space for a select range of performance and lifestyle bikes.

Whiteroom have just designed, produced and installed the new BOSE Point of Purchase units. The units were part of a joint venture by BOSE and Porsche to strengthen each others product lines by a clever use of dealership retail space.

BOSE approached Whiteroom to design and configure six high quality interactive tower displays to use across the country at pop up event days and exhibitions.

BOSE and Whiteroom also took over one of the conference rooms in the dealership and turned it into a home lifestyle demonstration area for the new Video Wave product.

The whole event was a great success. BOSE were extremely happy, as was Porsche who couldn't believe how well the units worked and looked in their retail environment.

Giant have just taken delivery of the all new 2011 van wrap designed by Whiteroom.

The Brief:

To design an eye-catching van and event package for the competition series kicking off this month. We needed to include a call to action to increase web views of the new giant store websites and social network sites.

The Result:

An eye-catching van that has fulfilled the brief and fits in with the global look. Both James and Simon are very proud.

Plus there is the need to transmit that sense on the brand's personality; something to convey to the customer that the brand is every bit as much an individual as he or she. Sprayway achieves this with a clean and open design, in which every button works and which takes the visitor where they want to go - fast. It has to be said - we work in a very pretty place!

Check out these shots snapped today around our office grounds and in the nearby church... the coldest temperature so far for us is -8°C!

Whiteroom have, just this second, finished installing an eye catching winter sock campaign window for Smartwool. It will be in one of Ellis Brigham's key store windows, Covent Garden, London for over two weeks.

SmartWool asked us to come up with some packaging for a product seeding campaign, the boxes have arrived and we think they look great!

Steph competes in Canoe/Kayak Slalom throughout the year at various rivers in the UK.

Near the end of the season all the UK Canoe Clubs have a head to head slalom race, which is called 'Interclubs'. This is more of a friendly rather than serious competition, over a weekend. On the Saturday night they have a big party! Sunday morning, paddlers are a bit worse for wear, but by the end of the competition, everyone has had a great weekend.

He's pimped it up Streetfighter Stylee, and you can hear him coming into work from miles away - blimey!!!

As part of our continued working relationship with Sprayway, we have just completed the 2010 Autumn/Winter refresh of their apparel and camping websites.

The amended sites not only have a new purple colour scheme, but also feature autumnal imagery and subtle tie ins with their new global "For all walks of life" creative messaging.

New functionality has been built into the apparel product filters that allow users to drill down by review rating to see the best products for their criteria.

Both sites have a new blog section that members can access to see the latest product tips, meet the team, view the retailer of the month and discover walks about the country.

Some weird goings on in Old Milverton. This fantastic crop circle has just appeared down by the banks of the Avon, no more than a stones throw from the Whiteroom studios.  As for who's responsible, need we say more.........aliens of course.

Chaco launch in Europe, this modern naturally finished booth was the perfect sales platform to offer Chaco's high quality fashion footwear and sandals.

The Brief:

Chaco approached Whiteroom to design an exhibition booth that would set them apart.  The concept would need to express the brands heritage and a modern alternative lifestyle. Other requirements included custom POS units that would hold up to 30 SKUs, display them at an angle and clearly communicate the product groups to the customer.

The Result:

We produced a well balanced booth that captured the imagination of the Chaco brand through large inspirational lifestyle imagery, and raw materials finished with a striking contrast that caught the eye. 

Strong visual merchandising and POS units that displayed the products in the best possible way made the products very popular with passers by.

We also took Chaco around the halls with a custom branded Pashley bike.  The promo girl was armed stacks of free Chaco sandals, all participants had to do was try on a pair of Chacos and take the ten step challenge.  The idea was to illustrate how far the sandals took you compared to walking barefoot.  It was a great success and 500 free pairs were given away. Needless to say there was none left!

This kit will now travel the shows for the next three years getting the Chaco brand out there. Whiteroom look forward to a strong working relationship with Chaco, so keep checking back to see how this brand grows.

The VK road show continues with this stunning summer stand at the NUS show, Birmingham. 

That stand grabbed lots of attention with it's bold sticking graphics that completely covered the booth.  This was achieved through a special print method and was a huge success. 

This kit is travelling the UK bagging lots of shows dedicated to the VK target market.

This year's Glastonbury had to be the hottest in the festivals 40 year history! With great live music, very little sleep and a few hangovers, it was one of the best yet!

The chaps at Merrell invited our Jon to a packed day of water sports and all round Cowes action! While the rest of Whiteroom worked Jon soaked up the atmosphere. 

A little competition is always good... So when the sun is out on a late Friday afternoon the team from Whiteroom decided to hit the UK's No.1 championship golf course!

Only 200 yards down the road set in the stunning Warwickshire countryside, it's the perfect place to let off steam. If you fancy a game give us a call...

Chaco recently awarded Whiteroom the contract to run their exhibition program in Europe for the next three years. This simple yet cracking little brand experience stand is the launch platform for Chaco to make it in the European market.

Using modern fabric banner systems balanced with traditional materials true to the brand clearly sets Chaco apart from it's competitors.

The first stop is the famous and very popular Outdoor show in Friedrichshafen Germany. This grass roots brand will make an impact through seeding product via the '10 Step Challenge' a challenge that get potential customer involved with the brand by wearing the product and witnessing the benefit of the Chaco brand over their competitors.

A few at Whiteroom bounced at the free Rage gig at Finsbury Park London... what a night.

Whilst out in Vegas the creative folk at Whiteroom took the opportunity to bag the Grand Canyon.  We booked ourselves into a reserve and spent a day hiking down the canyon.  We had snow when we set off and 25+ at the bottom! 

After this we hit Vegas in a mustang and lost a lot of money!

Good times.

The Whiteroom team hits the Lakes for the 4th year in a row. This set trip in the calendar is the perfect bonding weekend. Packed with walking, biking and drinking... it's a lot of fun for all involved.

Steph and Mick from Whiteroom will be paddling an open canoe down the River Severn from Sat 29th May - Sat 5th June, camping along the way.

They are doing this for the charity Water Aid, who use practical solutions to provide safe water, effective sanitation and hygiene education to the world’s poorest people.

Just got our Giant Bristol postcard dispensers back from the printers. These are designed to hold A6 postcards at POS.

We were asked to create a range of flash ads in keeping with the magazine campaign, with live links through to the Giant stores website. The ads were a succsessful representation of the magazine ads.

Giant asked us to create a unique magazine ad to promote the new Giant Bike Stores around the UK, advertising various locations on a single page. Using the Giant logo as a starting point we incorporated stylized landmarks of all the locations to form a visual representation of a “Giant Globe”.
 

Sprayway contacted us to re-design their website. The outcome is a much better representation of the brand, as it conveys the outdoor lifestyle, whilst still keeping the technical aspect of the range. Needless to say Sprayway were delighted with the result.

Whiteroom have recently completed their fourth UK Giant Bike store in Twickenham. Following on from the other UK stores, Twickenham remained a consistent and successful representative of Giant as a brand. The split level store has an area specifically for high performance bikes.   

Giant move into Liverpool docks with the 1st of many brand stores. Giant approached Whiteroom as brand specialists in retail and marketing. 

The feedback for this first store has been huge, this format will now be rolled out across the country.

The second Giant bike store is now complete and doing great business. Whiteroom Studios are extremely proud to be growing alongside Giant who are creating waves in the biking retail sector.

The store packs a punch with bold colours, great lighting and clever merchandising. Whiteroom have also implemented a launch campaign that consisted of taxi wraps and localised advertising.

With the launch of the Giant Bike Stores nationwide Whiteroom are producing regional campaigns to support the stores. These include eye-catching taxi wraps each, one will be bespoke to the city.

Vodka Kick continue their exhibitions campaign with Whiteroom by attending the NUS trade show. The show hosted in Telford saw VK outshine all its competitors with this great modular stand that is grabbing the right attention at every event. 

Merrell Mudman goes from strength to strength.  Whiteroom have produced a series of Ads for Merrell and Human Race for Men's Health magazine.

Who's up for a dirty weekend.

Merrell needed some product shots that would deliver for an upcoming campaign that is going into Schuh stores this March.  Whiteroom answered the brief by shooting these stunning product shots at our Studio in Leamington.

Couei had a great show at the 3GSM World Congress.  Powered by Whiteroom's excellent exhibition design and build service they look to expand and go bigger next year.  Watch this space...

Whiteroom delivered an exceptional stand for Merrell at this years ISPO in Munich.  The brief was to bring Apparel to the front of the stand, showing key customers Merrell are serious about their new range. 

The show went very well with many visitors on the stand with much positive feed back on the Apparel statement.

Whiteroom Studios get ready for the floods... It is an awesome sight to watch as the water flows past the old Saxon Mill.

BOSE built its reputation creating high-performing audio products. Now, they are growing other business beyond these boundaries.

Our challenge was to design and manufacture a 24m2 exhibition stand to showcase Bose and its expanding Pro Division range at Sleep ‘09. The stand was packed with hoteliers and restaurateurs throughout the show...

With much excitement, Whiteroom had its new stationery delivered today. As usual we were not disappointed with the final outcome and quality of our new look.

BOSE take their grandest stand to date to Grand Designs Live at the Birmingham NEC. The stand has been creating waves, attracting vast amounts of customers to the stand.

The theatre runs none stop all day entertaining 25 people at one time. The demos on the perimeter of the stand attract passers-by, once on the stand they're not disappointed.

Bose have had huge success with their exhibition program and have seen a significant increase in brand awareness and sales, they are now ranked the 18 coolest brand in the UK.

Whitroom spent the day with olympic gold winner Tim Brabants, taking photos for PR and generally having a good time.

Whiteroom commissioned a graffiti artist for a unique shutter design for one of Merrell's dealer stores.

The Merrell Look Book landed on our desk today and looks great. This book will be rolled out accross the Nordics providing Merrell's customers a quick glance at Merrell's best products.

Merrell and Whiteroom take some time out in the trees!! Rather than the usual meeting around a table, we took to the trees in a packed day of swinging like apes and riding like nutters on a 7 mile 'follow the dog' mountain bike course at Cannock Chase. Good times...

Global brands again came to Whiteroom to design a themed stand to launch two new beers to the bar industry. This fun and eye catching stand complete with palm tree, sandy beach and authentic caribbean bar went down a storm!

At IFSEC 2008, Whiteroom were commissioned by ISM Ltd to design and manufacture a bold and striking stand, and boy did we deliver. Making the most of ISM's colour pallette, Whiteroom created a functional yet interesting sales platform, making the show a great success for ISM.

BAE Systems approached Whiteroom at the 11th hour to create a dynamic platform from which to launch their newly acquired Video Surveillance division. Utlising 6m high glowing white towers and corporate colours the stand really drew the crowds within the hall.

Texecom crossed the pond with Whiteroom for their annual trip to ISC West 08 in Vegas. The stand was modest with large glowing lightbox towers and an imposing back wall. Texecom had great interest and look to go bigger next year!
